I've got the gamescom 780 and it's great. Even the microphone is good, but I noticed it didn't pickup the "bass" of my voice. I owned a cheaper headset before this one and the sound quality was horrible compared to the 780, but the mic was better.

So my question to you, is it possible to edit the mic in some way to pickup your voice better ?

It's not like I sound like a squeeker (like linus  ), but i'd like to sound more like "me".

If there is no way to change the mic sound/quality, I might look into the modmic 4.0, I heard it's great.
