Okay so the problem that I am having is that I have two GPU's in my system (A R9 280x crossfired with a 7970) and in most games I have to turn down settings because my cards are overheating.

I have looked into building a custom liquid cooling loop for both my cards and my CPU but that will cost more money than I have ATM and I am still unsure on how to build the whole loop in the first place.  I have the Cooler Master Haf 932 Advanced Case, and I also put a ARCTIC Accelero Xtreme 7970 VGA Cooler on my 7970.

I would like any help or suggestions on what I could do to keep the temps of my cards down so that I can utilize the full potential that they have to offer.

Just take the side off. Easy. Terrible. Cheap

best suggestion is go nvidia the chips dont seem to heat up as much with the more newer gpus. but since that may not be an option look for aios for the gpus?

I don't think that's much of an option for me TBH... I could but that would make them even hotter I think...

I am trying to switch over to Nvidia and get a dual 980 or 970 system but again... I don't have the money right now to do that.

taking off the side panel would allow better exhaustion maybe if you posted a pic of your rig thatd be much more helpful to us then we can maybe see how the airflow is working,

I can't currently take a picture because of poor lighting and not enough space to move my computer out to take a pic of it but once I get the chance I certainly will.

@Bangflop

Do the G10 mod to just the top card.  It will only cost around $100, and it will solve your problems.  Not to mention, the G10 is practically universal, so it can be reused on future GPUs.

I would try the NZXT Kraken G10 on the first card that doesn't get much breathing room. Here is a video about the G10.
