This is my first build so i am very new to this. I have already picked some parts that i would like my build to have, you can see the picture below. I would like to have a custom loop for performance and looks however i have problem choosing GPU only thing i know is that i prefer nVidia i could afford GTX 980 or possibly two GTX 970's. Since i am doing custom loop i would like to know which radiator i would need to buy in order to watercool CPU and GPU. Just to mention my color scheme is red and black. Any help/suggestions is appreciated.

EDIT: Changed SSD from 840 to 850

Don't get a 5930K, get a 5820K. Don't get the Rampage V Extreme either, it's overly expensive for what you pay.

Get the 850 Evo SSD, it performs the same/ better as the 840 Pro, but is cheaper iirc.

As for blocks for CPU get a EKWB Evo, and the GPU block(s) depend on what GPU you get.

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

i7 9700K (5.2Ghz @1.2V); MSI Z390 Gaming Edge AC; Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB 3200 CAS 16; H100i RGB Platinum; Samsung 970 Evo 1TB; Samsung 850 Evo 500GB; WD Black 3 TB; Phanteks 350x; Corsair RM19750w.

What is this used for and what's your budget? It's wayyyyyyyy overkill for 99% of tasks.

Used for everything to be honest gaming, streaming, rendering and my budget is under £2500 main reason im trying to build overkill is so i dont have to upgrade in near future

I do like Rampage for small features they offer that other motherboards dont i was about to go with SOC Champion but they dont have wifi, bluetooth and rampage has better audio card. For CPU block i was thinking Apogee XL as it has nice LED lighting that will fit my build.

A WiFi card costs £14.

This all seems a little overkill. LGA 2011-3 should only really be touched by heavy content creators. Other than that, the LGA 1150 platform will get you a lot more for your money.

If you got the LGA 1150 platform with an i7-4790K, you may even be able to buy a second GTX 980. Hey presto, you're 4K ready (more or less).

Its not just Wifi that i am talking about there are many littles features and things that i like including OC Panel. Id rather have overkill cpu to be honest just so it can last longer without having to upgrade it soon. And i am planning to add another 980 a bit later anyways. I think will wait until they release GTX 980Ti which should drop the price of 980

You'll only see the benefit of LGA 2011-3 in heavily multi threaded applications. If you do a lot of rendering, then it's a worthy investment. But if the rig is centred around gaming with a bit of peripheral content creation, then you won't really see the benefit of that overkill CPU.

Here is what i have came up with so far, decided to pick MSI GTX 980 as its fits colorwise my build and is relative cheap compared to other cards. Could anyone tell me if Triple 120mm radiator would be enough to watercool CPU and GPU (not planning to add block on gpu just yet but will do in future)

It might not be a bad idea to wait for the GTX 980 Ti. It will hold a premium over the GTX 980, but considering your budget, I wouldn't have thought it would be an issue.

If you've got the space in your case, why not add several radiators? A 360mm and 240mm working together would do an excellent job of cooling all of your components.

HX1000i is a overpriced, mediocre for the price product. Look at EVGA G2/P2, XFX XTR, Antec HCG/HCP and so on which are cheaper and better internally

Do they also have software that shows voltage used by specific part?

Do you need to know the voltages across each part?

My guesses are that these readings are going to be pretty crude and not nearly as accurate as proper equipment.

I thought the would probably be the most accurate ones as they come from PSU itself so this is why i thought it might be good idea to have it.

I highly doubt this would be the case. I really don't see the advantage of being able to monitor your voltages.

The equipment used by someone like JonnyGuru would be far more accurate in these measurements, as they are industrial grade and regularly calibrated.

Not only that, any (known) laws governing electricity dictate that equipment on the inside shouldn't, theoretically, be more accurate than equipment on the outside. Equipment is actually designed this way to achieve the most accurate reading.

Do you need to monitor your voltages? I'm not sure how many other things Corsair Link can do, but for the purposes of rail monitoring, I wouldn't bother.

EDIT: I've just read about Corsair Link, it actually looks pretty cool. However, I would choose a higher quality PSU over a 'cool' feature that isn't completely necessary.

What higher quality PSU would you suggest?

Also have finally decided what case i am going to choose

Corsair Graphite 780T

Still sticking with LGA2011-3 I see? xD

I would still suggest an i7-4790K instead. Unless your source of income is dependent on your PC, LGA2011-3 isn't necessary. Furthermore, with the money you'd save from going with a 4790K over a 5930K, you could buy a GTX 980 Ti with change. This would provide a MUCH higher in-game performance improvement over the regular GTX 980. But I digress.

Unless you plan to SLI, there isn't any real need to go for such an OP PSU. If you're thinking of getting another graphics card to SLI, something like an 850W PSU would do the job just fine. However, it's not so much the wattage that matters, but the quality. For your current system, I would suggest something like an EVGA 650GS. Or if you want a little redundancy, an EVGA 750 G2 would be an excellent choice. If you want further redundancy for SLI, 850 G2 or 1000 G2/P2 would be good choices. Don't quote me on these PSUs, and always make sure you read reviews of a power supply before you buy it from someone like JonnyGuru. These guys can get into the meat and bones and tell you what a PSU really is, not what a manufacturer claims.

If you have doubts, ask in the power supply sub-forum.
