I have a Hp pavilion dv6 1334 about 5 years old rn. But im looking for a audio driver idt hd audio driver windows 8.1, because on Hp website they only had it for windows 7 :/ and when I installed that all the functions didnt work. It was a normal driver for a sound card that can do anything with the eq surround sound and more

 

 

 

Anyone know where to get it or send me the link?

try identify the audio device first, then go direct to the manufacturer's website...

 

you can try running a google search using the DEVICE_ID attribute...

 

Go to Device Manager and find the device. Right click and open its properties, Under the details tab, look for hardware ids...

hmm.. a quick google search turned up noting...

 

have you tried installiing the win7 drivers... I had my win7 drivers work on an 8.1 install before...
