Hey everyone, I am not sure if this is the right place to post this...

But here goes....

I am selling my old laptop and with the money that I will get I wan't to buy a new Dedicated streaming PC.

I've got around 550-575 euro's to spend on it, thats without Mouse/ keyboard and monitor.

It has to be able to stream 1080p 60FPS

Thanks in advance for the help!

ummm...

I can only recommend to get a GTX 970. I use it to stream, you can achieve 60fps in every game atm (depending on your CPU), you can use the Nvidia Encoding (shadowplay) to make the h264 encoding for you.

I'd recommend more than 8GB of ram, i5(4460 for example), 970 and a nicely cooled case, as the PC will be on for many hours and its best if your components have cool air :D.

Unfortunatelly this will go for more than 575€.

Planning on trying StarCitizen (Highly recommended)? STAR-NR5P-CJFR is my referal link

the intel cpu is cause of the hyper threading

an the gpu is cause of nvenc..which will take the encoding load off the cpu

If you need remote help fixing something on your computer

I can help over Teamviewer if you wish

just msg me on my profile

I would've gone 970, but couldn't get near his price range.

Looks good so far, but...

I'm not planning on playing games on it myself.

It will be used in conjunction with my Avermedia ExtremeCAP U3 purely for streaming.

The gaming part will be done on my gaming desktop.

A 2 PC streaming solution.

I should have been more clear about that ;p

The EVGA NEX is also not very good. You want XFX XTR, EVGA B2/GS/G2, the NEX is not good at all compared to these.

i5 4670k - Z87X-UD3H - EVGA GTX 670 Sig 2 - Samsung 840 Evo 250GB - 8GB Avexir Core White 1600Mhz - Corsair 750D w/ RGB LED Mod & Remote Control - 2x SP120 - 3x Enermax Cluster - 2TB Seagate SSHD - Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 - SuperFlower Leadex Gold 750W

I knew that EVGA had a good PSU series but never could remember which one. I thought it was the NEX series that was good. Thanks!

I am beyond confused. Why don't you just put the capture card in your current desktop? Tbh, I'm not even sure how capture cards work.

Why would you do such a thing? The NVidia Encoding is incredibly sooth, you barely notice a difference in performance (about 5-10% depending on the game).

Capture cards are something of the past, you don't even need them on the new consoles, as they have direct streaming output by themselves.

If you plan on streaming, host the streaming on the same PC you are using to game what are its specifications? You could beef up said PC (your gaming one) and assure those 60fps/1080p and use the rest to get hold of a second screen, something mandatory for streaming(if you don't have one already).

CPU = i5-4670K

GPU = ASUS GeForce® GTX 780 DirectCU II

RAM = G.Skill ARES 16GB 2133mhz

Motherboard = MSI Z97 GAMING 5

OS SSD= Samsung 840 EVO

If your talking about Shadowplay.

You can't stream 1080p 60FPS with it.

The max resolution is 720P @ 30FPS.

And I am still sticking with the 2 PC streaming solution.

I have already tried to stream some games with my gaming PC and the strain on the CPU is just too much...

Im not talking about shadowplay, im talking about Nvidia Ncoding: http://gyazo.com/9116639209e9b53503617ddbd2c95a33

You can stream whatever with it. http://www.gaming.tv/videos/489761080p 30fps. I could stream higher framerates, but my connection can't handle it.

If you have money, get another 780 and go SLI for assured 1080p 60fps gaming + streaming in any tittle. As I said, if you use the GPUs for the encoding, the CPU's strain is none.

Go with 2 PCs if you so desire, but it is completely unnecessary, I don't recommend it and it will be against my advice to do so.

If you do decide to use 1 pc, and want to know more about the encoder or how to set it up, PM me.
