Hey there, recently after installing an ASRock Z77 Pro 4 and re installling windows 7, my system started to recognize my processor as a i5 2500 (without the K). Now I know that the K means that it's capable of overclocking, but I would like to know how to re enable this so I could overclock without an issue in the future, thanks.

Yeezus was the best album of all time

Regardless what Windows says you can still overclock it. As what killerx525 posted above check your BIOS and see what it recognizes the CPU as. Also you can download CPU-Z and it will tell you. If your BIOS says i5 2500 and non "k" check the manufacturer website for a BIOS update as it may be needed.
