Witcher 3 Help...

I am running Witcher 3 on high at 50 FPS (60 if i turn the hair styles off). Every now and then the game will just CTD. My PC is running a AMD FX 8350 @ 4.3 Ghz, Gigabyte GTX 960 4GB, 8Gb corsair vengeance @ 1866 Mhz. I play the game @ 1680 x 1050 and have never CTD until the recently brought out the patch 1.04. any help would be appreciated. 

idk about TW3, but TW2 would do the same thing if you had a ton of saves on it. Do you have a ton of saves? If so, have you tried deleting a bunch of them?

Turning off frame limiting in options helps the crashes. Turn it to unlimited. Doesn't remove crashed altogether but it makes them far less often
