Hey guys,

 

I'm looking for a Headset which I can use for gaming, especially for tactical shooters (surround sound preferred). The headset should have good sound quality and a rather good microphone so I'm able to communicate with others on Teamspeak, Skype or ingame. I'm able and willing to pay up to 150-180$.

Get a good pair of headphones from Audio Technica/Sennheiser/Beyerdynamic/AKG ect and get an antlion modmic to make your own headset it will be way better than any of them on the market.

Headset 7.1 surround is crap. Only headset worth buying is Kingston HyperX Cloud or Qpad QH-90 (same thing)

Just buy some good quality headphones like superlux, akg, audio technica, etc..  Then buy Antlions modmick or Zalman ZM-mic and booom you have better headset for gaming and music listening than almost any gaming headset.
