Hey guys,

I came home today from work and turned on my computer. Right when I usually expect to see the post screen, the computer shuts off for a second and keep looping the same thing. Any ideas? This happened with no warning whatsoever. Help is appreciated. Here is a little video I took to explain what happens...

Also, if you pay close attention, you can tell that the fan leds go a little dimmer after a spit second of booting. I honestly cannot remember if it did this before but it's just something I noticed...

I would try to clear the CMOS. That's what happens when I overclock my RAM/Processor too high. There should be a header on the mobo. Unplug the PC and bridge the contacts with a screwdriver. Consult your manual for the location of the header.

I have a clear CMOS button on the mobo. I've avoided clearing it because I didn't want to lose the countless hours I've put into tweaking my oc settings. It's been running stable since November... Anything else I can try before clearing the CMOS?

Don't you have a save profile in your BIOS? Supposing you can get to your BIOS just save a profile and clear to see if that's the issue.

Unplug all the power cables from the PC, including the motherboard power connector. Take the motherboard power connector and find the green wire and any black wire. Take one end of the paper clip and insert it into the green wire, and the other end into a black wire. You'll want to make sure the power supply is either unplugged when you do this or switched off, though you will not electrocuted if you don't.

I do for my initial overclock, but then I tweaked with it a lot more later and don't think I saved that. After I short those two wires, then what?

Trust me, I have had countless hours of overclocking stability ruined by a CMOS issue. I now write down my settings (although I don't currently overclock.)

I tested my ssd, video card, ram and power supply in a friends rig and everything works. So now I'm down to CPU or motherboard. I'm guessing its the motherboard. CPU wouldn't die after 10 months @4.8ghz 1.336v. Plus the computer was only on like 3-5 hours every day, it didn't run 24/7

Update! Rma came back. The best rma service period! Sent out 7/30 and received 8/8, only 8 days total! msi Is awesome! Will update as soon as everything is working.
