Windows on a PC build

Go to solution Solved by JebKerman,

well if you don't get an OS then you'll just have the BIOS (which upon writing that finally realized that it stood for "Built In Operating System") which wont allow you to do much other than tweak the system

You can use other OS like Linux or do a Hackintosh ect ect.. Windows is just the main OS used.

your PC needs an OS

try Linux or SteamOS

I thought that bios stood for Basic Input / Output System

BIOS
Origin

acronym from Basic Input-Output System .

That is probably correct, but I like that there's another way of looking at it
