R5 230 questions.

First before people murder me in my sleep, I know the card is terrible, it came with a prebuilt computer which after I realize was terrible and I'm exchanging basically everything in this computer**

This card doesn't seem to be able to run much at all, I can run a lot of stuff at 800x600, but even some of those games don't run too well with EVERYTHING set to low. Is there anything I can do to make this run a bit better? I understand all the basic stuff, and have tried it already, though I figured maybe this card would run at at least a bit better speed?

As well as Canyourunit says I meet the min requirements and rec requirements for many games, yet I play it [like payday 2] and I can't even play it on the lowest possible settings, 30fps with extreme mouse delay on that game specifically. o - o

OC to the max?

those things are so weak that you can usually just slide the slider all the way without a problem lol

uh, clean it ? change thermal compound (if that thing even has a heatsink thats not glued to the board..) instal latest drivers ? oc ?

sadly there is nothing you can do but get a different graphics card. overclocking will improve the performance by a little but not by much that you can play it at at least 720p

My Old Rig: Phenom II X4 965 4.0 ghz, Asus Motherboard, 4 GB DDR3-1333, Antec Case and PSU, no video card atm

My New Rig: i5-4590, MSI Motherboard, 8 GB DDR3-1600, Corsair Case, XFX PSU, HD 7950

This wasn't meant as a gaming card, so you won't be getting good gaming performance with it. The most you can do with it is OC but that won't really help the fact that it's weak in the first place. Just save up for an upgrade.

Apparently this prebuilt garbage came with a 350w power supply, so I don't wanna short it out. I'm literally swapping it out in like a week or two when I get my check, But I just was looking for a temporary solution because this thing is terrible.. :<

I'm getting a msi 280x, was hoping for a temporary solution so I can at least play stuff while I wait haha
