Crossfire 2x r9 280x

So ive just updated my build with a second r9 280x but i dont think its working i then went to gpuz and checked everything and it said that the bus interface was PCI-E 3.0 x16 @ x8 1.1, Im pretty sure this is bad but if not is there anything anyone can think of to get this fixed?

Is that the only issue? because im pretty sure the interface reads lower than what it is actually at when the gpu is not being used.

 

Same thing happens to me, but it goes up to 3 when i run anything intensive

What motherboard do you use ?

alot of motherboards have one 16x slot and one 8x slot either that or your out of PCIe lanes. The speed difference really isn't enough to be worried

I have a msi 970a sli krait edition motherboard, That is another update to my build ive just added too, the speeds dont bother me too much as long as i could get crossfire its self to work But it something just doesnt seem to be registering
