nvidia shadow play stuttering

so i try and record games and the fps of the game does not move from 60 fps (v-sync) and the screen jitters and when i look back at the footage it stutters plz help

i have a

i5 4690k

gtx 970

8 gb ram

its only been doing this recently

every thing is up to date apart from the bios i dont really want to mess around with that

stuttering a small amount in 

gta 4,5

call of duty aw 

bad in 

minecraft but only using shaders

Are you recording to the same drive you're playing on? If so, there is your issue.

Does it happen only in manual mode, or it happens with shadow recording as well?

render the clip that stutters and see if it fixes it if yes then you have a slow hard drive
