EVGA 980 SC vs FTW vs Classified Overclocking

Hello. I'm going to buy new graphic card. I know it's going to be 980 from EVGA but which version to choose?

I'm going for maximum overclock on stock cooler and I don't know if more expensive card will give me better results.

Prices in Poland are higher than in USA and I don't want to pay extra if I don't need to.

 

GTX980 ACX 2.0 ~680$ (yes, you can get Classified in USA for this)

GTX980 SC ~720$

GTX980 FTW ~750$

GTX980 Classified ~ 856$ (i think it's too much money)

 

As you can see it's pretty bad ^^

 

Importing from other countries will cost more or same money so it's not an option.

The Classified has beefed up VRM, but it's not worth the extra cost. You're getting closer to a Titan X at that price. Go for the normal ACX and overclock it yourself. The only difference between the others is the base clock really.

Normal ACX.  The classified is only worth it if you're going to watercool / Ln2 it and go for records in benchmarking or you enjoy pushing your hardware to the brink of destruction :D

A 780 TI Classified that's had 1.375 volts on the core and 1.75v on the memory put through it on the stock cooler, lol.

@OP what about G1 Gaming? Gigabyte's card's are very good as well.

I just don't like Gigabyte. My very old Gigabyte motherboard died right after warranty period and my friend had GTX580 that died after year, then second card died after 6 months. Probably we were just unlucky.

Second reason is that I wanted EVGA since release of Geforce 600 cards so I think it's time :)
