Use TV speakers and the subwoofer of my home theater

Hello techtipters... I want to know if is possible to use the subwoofer of my home theater while i'm using the TV Speakers, as if the subwoofer is part of the TV audio system. I hope all of you understand what i write xD

There's supposed to be a 3.5 mm audio port on the back of your Tv. (If your tv is modern)

If your TV let's you output the sound and play it's own speakers at the same time sure. That is your TV though.
