So I have F@H running on my pc.  I have a core i7 3740QM and a GTX 980M and the folding client seems to only use my GPU and not my CPU.  I couldn't care less about points, I just want to allow my hardware to be utilized to it's fullest potential to help find cures.  I have the client set to run at full power but still my CPU is not utilized.  Any ideas on how I can remedy this?

Assuming that you have configured a slot for the CPU in your client, lately I encounter similar problems on a few of my folding rigs that have an 8 threads CPU and only 1 GPU.  This way if you don't do anything the client will allow 7 CPU threads out of the 8 to be utilized for CPU folding.

It worked correctly until recently where the client wasn't able to grab WU's for the CPU slot anymore.  I decided to put a fix number of threads to be used on the CPU slot to "6" and since then my CPU is grabbing WU's and run correctly.

To do this, click on the "Configure" button, select the "Slots" tab, double-click on you CPU slot in the list of slots, then in the pop-up window that will open.

You will see on the top "The number of CPU threads this slot should use" and the number in the box below should be "-1". Just change this value for "6" and click OK and SAVE on the remaining opened pop-up windows.
