So im doing my PCpartpicker build and i see this in my compatibility notes section "Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs."  If someone can let me know what that means and if i should be worried about it, that would be great.

If you are wondering what im building or can help, here is the link http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/F9NXBmi do not have any color requirement, i just chose what was good with a good sale like the GPU.  I also plan on either doing a custom water cooling loop, or just getting a G10 with a liquid cooler for the GPU.

are those easy? (this is my first build)

No. If you need a bios update you cant use the mobo. You need a compatible cpu to update then you can use it.

Just because you don't care, doesn't mean other others don't. Don't be a self-centered asshole. -Thank You a PSA from the people who do not say random shit on the internet.

its not the most difficult. If u can flash it without a cpu. If not you go through bios i believe and you need a cpu, so you need a cpu that will work, this can cost people money if you don't have it on hand or go to a pc shop.

Vishera refers to the FX-x3xx series, including the FX-6300. If you check that motherboard's CPU Support List, the FX-6300 is supported with BIOS version 1006.

That being said, I'd rather recommend the i5-4440 build above.
