To diagnose the problem you will need at least a day of time. Get on a laptop/phone and do something else while waiting. Memtestx86 will be your first, most likely it is the RAM that is causing issues. Then once that passes after 8+hrs furmark for 4+hrs. My desktop had bluescreen issues and a clean windows 8.1 (I had 7 before and 8 installed so many drivers by default, it was nice) reinstall fixed everything and made everything better. I believe I had installed a driver I shouldn't have and that caused interference with something else when loading certain games. After the clean install I had installed the audio, graphics driver just because I only use it for gaming and installed nothing extra that I didn't need. Ran the tests with hwmonitor for the night. Next day I started installing games all of them ran well. But you may have a faulty product, so tests are there for a reason.

The system has been stable for a few years. I have tried switching memory, removed gpu. Re installed Windows 3 times over, the only thig I can think of is a mobo or cpu issue.

If it has been stable and suddenly there is an error then I cannot emphasize benchmarks enough. When you do re-install do you manually install the same thing everytime? Just get the audio, internet and graphics working at first then add on stuff if you actually need it. Installing same things all at once, you won't find the issue.

I originally thought it was a program somewhere so I used Windows 8.1 pro with only chrome and skype installed for 2 weeks. Will do benchmarks I guess.
