When I use YouTube it buffers and loads and freezes a LOT. How can I fix this, and no I will not stop watching at 1080p :)

1 - Stop watching at 1080p.

2 - Get better internet.

3 - Get a better PC (no, seriously, get a better PC or stop running trash in the background 24/7.)

4 - those are your only options. this issue is on your behalf.

I have 12 GB RAM, i7(m), and a gt 740m on my current pc and it still buffers forever, I can't watch any videos unless it's 360p. Could it be Chrome sucking up a lot of my memory

Maybe someone else in your house is taking all the bandwidth.

If you try with a ethernet cable instead of WiFi ?

My sister had 80+ tabs open on my sucky PC, I closed them and I got 15 up and 5 down. Much better but YouTube is still crap.

Did you ever use your laptop outside of your house ? On a free Wi-Fi spot and do you have the same issue ?

And like I've said in my previous post, I've you tried with a Ethernet cable ?

Ethernet fixes the speed but YouTube still stutters and now two audio tracks play. The only way for me to counter this is to refresh 50 times or start the video already muted then unmute.

Have you tried with an other browser ?

Can you try on an other computer and check if you have the same problem with an other PC ?

In general Chrome is slow on that laptop. I tried Opera and it's much better. I won't use Opera though because I have 30 extensions on Chrome that I nEED.

You don't need 30 extensions. And that's probably what's causing your issue.

Maybe you have too much extensions that it slow your browsing.

If it works well on Opera and not on Chrome, man there's something wrong with Chrome on your PC.

You can try to disable all your extensiosn and then try youtube again.

I use most of my extensions and scripts daily, I need them. I have 12 GB of ram so I don't know the problem

If you're using Chrome go to settings -> show advanced settings -> System -> and uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available."

There's a bug that means it's not actually buffering a lot of the time when this is checked. It was why I was being defaulted to 144p on a 30mb/s connection.

You can't look at me with a straight face and tell me you use 30 extensions on a daily basis. Please, list all of your extensions and why you use them and how. Your extensions are the problem. I say that with ~90% certainty.

That was exaggeration and I deleted half of them, all I have left is:
