G2A Safe and Legit?

Has anyone else here used G2A? I want to buy Civ 5 complete edition for ahem *$16.31* I've also read about how shady it is because you buy from random people selling Steam keys...well I don't want to buy from a random person. Can someone please explain?

Now, you know what you can expect from these barbarians. They are a race of rabid BASTARDS that will fight us tooth and nail! But they don't know what they're up against. Cyrodiil, is CIVILIZATION! Cyrodiil, is ORDER! Cyrodiil is POWER! And out here, WE. ARE. CYRODIIL.

I have had only good experiences. Just got witcher 3 after preordering it a month ago.

Its about as safe and legit as buying random stuff from random people on Ebay. Hopefully you get what you wanted and its legit but sometimes you get scammed. And even if you get the "Shield" insurance I've heard the support just ignores you even if your key wasn't legit. I would stay away from sites like G2A unless you had no other options.

G2A is basically a middle-man for buying keys from other people or organizations. They offer *some* protection, and I've had nothing but good experiences from there. There's no real 100% proof that the keys you buy are legit, but they will work *probably*

Don't listen to these people, me and my friends have overall bought 50+ games between all of us and only 1 had a problem which was fixed within a day :)

It is grey market, they buy cheaper keys from poor regions and sell them and than people from poor regions can't buy them, buying stuff from G2A is scumbag thing to do.

yeah g2a is like ebay..in which theres good sellers and bad sellers, all you have to do is if you're not buying from g2a themselves is look at the feedback of who you're buying from.

i bought many games from them with no problems ever. but dont just buy from anyone either g2a themselves or someone with thousands of positive feedback and from a country of no suspicion,i always buy from usa, britian, or canada...

not true..anymore. people were breaking the region thing until recently where steam put a stop to it. (those were mostly all russians doing that)

butmost people sell legit keys, i know personally you can by the dvd version of black ops 2 for 10 bucks or less..open the game take out the code to sell and throw away the game. steam still sales bo2 for 60 bucks.

also some people have hundreds of dollars in thier steam account (winnings from bets, profit from steam market selling) and cant get real money for it,so they will either buy a game while on sale and resell on g2a or outright sale at a loss for real money. i have done this myself...i bought from steam and sold on g2a. steam got thier money, its a 100%legit copy, and i got some paypal bucks for it.

true but now they are region locked, steam made it so games from poorer countries cannot activate in richer countries, hurt alot of slick russians selling to usa. now to activate a game you have to buy from a country where it cost the same or more than in your country.

Keep in mind they also charge a processing fee for using credit cards and paypal. You can offset part of that cost by using the discount codes that many streamers have.
