Upgrading GTX 760

Hello,

 

If I am looking for a value upgrade on my graphic card. Currently I have i5 4670k and gtx 760(asus direct). Do you guys think its worth to upgrade it to gtx 970? feeling not good at all when i find out gtx 760 is dead end, lol

And can my process handles a bigger card?

Yep and yep.

970 is a very good upgrade and your CPU can handle it :)

Yep and yep.

I just upgraded a friend's gaming rig from a 760 to a 970, and as expected, games are running much smoother.

 

Your 4670k can most certainly handle a better GPU.

 

 

You'll be fine, that's a great upgrade.

 

There is a guy is trying to persuade me to do a trade with his SSD 512GB 830 series for my GTX 760. Do you guys think it is worth it?

I wouldn't get a used SSD, that's just asking for trouble. Especially when it's worth more than what you're giving him. Seems too good to be true.

But this seems to good to be true..

A new GTX 760 should be about 170 USD while a 512GB SSD is 250+ USD

I dont even know how to test. 

i'm not sure if you should take the deal, although you can use a smart reader like crystaldiskmark and look at the total data written and at the uncorrectable errors if those are fine you could do it without issues at all
