New pc build

Hey Linustechtips members

 

Im new here so please be kind .

Im building my first pc ever and I would like to here if the components are compatible and if I can buy better and cheaper components or if the components are old.

 

Case - Zalman Z11

Motherboard - Asus Z97-Pro Gamer

CPU - intel core i7-4790k

GPU - MSI Gtx Geforce 980 4GB

RAM - Kingston HyperX Beast DDR3-2400 DC (2x8GB)

Powesubbly - Corsair RM750 Gold

Harddrive - Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB

SSD - Samsung EVO 850 120GB

CPU cooler - be quiet dark rock 3

 

Ps. My budget is 1800$ but I can use a bit more if necessary.

Seems like a pretty good build to me, If you're only Gaming you don't really need an i7 though and would save a bit of money by sticking with a i5 4690k, otherwise it seems solid.
