Broken ram connector

Go to solution Solved by iamdarkyoshi,

Use conductive ink if you can figure out where the pads used to go. If they dont lead to anything on the PCB, then it is fine. Make sure to look for VIAs. These are essentially copper "rivets" to connect layers together. Try it on a derpy motherboard first! I wish you luck!

if there are traces near where the pad were and you know that they went to the pads, carefully scrape the solder resist off of the copper trace using a flathead jewler's screwdriver and use a pice of tape to mask off the areas that dont need it. After installing the ram, removal might wear the ink off.
