Has anyone seen any good 360mm closed loop cpu coolers around?

I can see the one by thermaltake:

http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CCkQtwIwAQ&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DLbSI1h8oJ60&ei=hTtbVZXJOquqygOSj4D4Bg&usg=AFQjCNEwJ2a7qkNIyL6RFFJ9fd5ZymjnFw&sig2=-ef5zRgi_zxkyxcu9-jvDA&bvm=bv.93564037,d.bGQ

Never really been keen on Thermaltake, this looks slightly cheap and pretty darn ugly.

This is for my Girlfriends PC so it needs to look legit.

A viable alternative is a cheap reliable custom loop setup... any ideas on that? All custom loop parts seem to be crazy pricey. cheaper, well made parts should be fine.

It's more of a novelty item, the machine it's going into will not be overclocked by the user, It's to remove a big heavy CPU cooler.

but why 360 rads ? Doubt that your CPU needs that much

CPU: Xeon 1230v3 - GPU: GTX 770  - SSD: 120GB 840 Evo - HDD: WD Blue 1TB - RAM: Ballistix 8GB - Case: CM N400 - PSU: CX 600M - Cooling: Cooler Master 212 Evo

Update Plans: Mini ITX this bitch

'Cheap' so you mean like every other asetek based aio? Others I can say you could get, Fractal Design S36, which you can find on amazon.co.uk and have it shipped to the states(if this is where you live), or a Swiftech h2O-x20 edge.

Unless you are overclocking or using a 9590, a triple rad isn't necessary. Just go for a cooler master nepton 120xl/240m. Cheaper than every triple rad you will ever find, doesn't look 'cheap' as you would say, and will perform no different without an overclock.

A. Why do you need a 360rad?

B. Is your girlfriend's CPU that hot that you need a 360rad?

C. Have you considered a 240rad or a 280rad? Such as a h100i/GTX or a Nepton 240m

Ah,

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fractal-Design-Kelvin-S36-cooling/dp/B00LA70AOS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1432043815&sr=8-1&keywords=Fractal+Design+S36

Thanks Tagiau, that looks way better. Works for this application perfectly.

Not really necessary at the moment, no. But at least it's got a big radiator in case I ever want to expand on the loop to include a GPU as well.

You cannot expand those AiO that easy

you can't expand most aio due to the pump being to weak just saying. And it's a risky mod. The only aio that I know of that meant to be able to add other rads/gpu or other components would be the swiftech 220x or something

My idea was to scrap the waterblock/pump combo and use the radiator in the future. radiators that size are about £50 alone so would make a nice dent in the price of a new custom loop.

At the end of the day it's only about £40 more than a nice 240 mm radiator version so it seems like a good deal.

Another closed loop on the GPU may be a better long term idea than cutting and chopping things apart, who knows. The only challenge I see in incorporating the radiator into a custom loop would be tubing size, it does looks fairly thin on the Fractal S36.

Anyway, thanks for the ideas and warning guys, all good stuff :)

if you want to know about dual aio setups ask @Faceman he knows quite a bit on the subject
