in win7 go to start then all programs then open startup folder then paste the exe file of the software you want to start at boot up.

Its in the task manager in Win 8.

 

Ctrl+Alt+Delete > Task Manager > Startup Tab > Edit Programs

 

EDIT: Just realized that you can't actually choose any program that you want from there. Do what the following person said and use "Schedule Tasks".
