hello my friend will buy steelseries frost blue and i wonder does it have surround sound 7.1?

All headphones can do surround. 7.1 is just a markettng gimmick when it comes to headphones, though. Most modern games can do virtual surround themselves, most sound cards and on-board chip drivers have it as an option and Razer has their free surround software for even more options.

No. They will be stereo headset. Your friend can use hes audio chip for virtual surround.

As mentioned u can use virtual surround.

But its been proven that stereo headphones is all u need since what matters is how the sound u are listening to was recorded (dual mics is best and incredinle experience).
