i7-5820k voltage

Solved by PhiberOptik,
More volts = lower lifespan, you can damage a chip even with great temps if you feed it too much power. I would exercise caution and not get greedy when overclocking. Can you notice the difference between 4.6Ghz and 4.7Ghz? Do you even need 4.6Ghz? I would get what you need out of it and leave what you don't need for later. Better to have a 4.6Ghz 5820k then no 5820k. You can always use 4.4Ghz or whatever and keep your chip safe for when you need that speed later rather then burning the horse up before the race. If you really need the speed I've not seen many go past 1.45v. Max safe voltage is usually said to be 1.4v I don't know what it actually is per Intel spec.
