When he reinstalled league, did he delete the old files in the riot folder that are still left over even after reinstalling?

Honestly that sounds like less of an issue with your PC and more of an issue with your network connection

Same issue at my house

I read this is a huge issue that they are working on just now, any thoughts?

I wiped the storage drive then reinstalled it.

Personally, I don't have that specific problem, but sometimes league doesn't open for me and says that my kernel stopped working. You should try and see what they are saying on the League forums. Sorry I can't help.

The real problem is probably his internet connection.

He also stated that it happens at his house as well.

Hey there,

Do the problems occur with other games or other type of internet usage? Is there an error message or a log file that you can look at? Is your friend having the issue at their home with another PC?
I would make sure all the latest drivers and firmware updates are installed correctly on the PC (for the hardware as well as the OS). Maybe try to reset the CMOS. What did the game's support say about the problem?

If this helped you, like and choose it as best answer - you might help someone else with the same issue. ^_^
