Windows takes up a but over ~20GB when installed. Depending on your habits and programs, 120-250GB is generally good.

Around 20GB or so.

That's what Win8.1 Pro 64 bit is i think.

Whoa! Quad post. You can edit your own posts ya know? Anyways, 120GB is too small nowadays when a 256GB can be had for usually a bit more in price.

How would I go about putting games into my hdd and os on a ssd ? Plus what programs are best to go on the ssd

All of your programs should go on the ssd.

There's almost always an option to choose where programs are installed.

Sorry for the posts guys trying to do this on a phone is so stupid

Just stop repeatedly pressing the post button.

Heyyo,

Meh, I have my 120GB Kingston SSD purely for Windows 10. I don't install any programs on it so it stays as open as possible. :)

It's an older SSD but it still works great for me. I'd recommend pretty much keeping the SSD purely for Windows and maybe whichever apps you have enabled at boot. Otherwise? Throw the rest onto your slower mass storage drive.

Heyyo,

My Android Phone: Exodus Android on my OnePlus One 64bit in Sandstone Black in a Ringke Fusion clear & slim protective case

But what about programs that are already installed would I then have to uninstall then reinstall ??

Yes unless you're migrating the data from your current drive.

Either migrate the data from your current drive or reinstall Windows the same way with any other drive.
