The intel build would run laps around the AMD build.

However, there is no point in getting a Xeon on a Z97 board. Either get an i7 4790K, or an H97 Motherboard.

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

Xeon all the way. Just change the motherboard since you don't need a Z97, and get a cheaper PSU. an 850w is overkill for that build.

Well do you have any ATX motherboards in mind that'll work with expanding to another GPU. Oh and another PSU

You would need a z97/z87 sli/crossfire capable board a non z97 board like the h97 wont work for a sli,The one you have currently chosen is fine.Even the psu is fine for 2 cards. There are many other nice options from evga you should check them out for a different psu.

Just finished watching Linus's video on the Asus z97-WS motherboard. Seems great, but I feel it might lack a few things. Might just go with this board, but idk.
