I am about to order my parts for a gaming rig that I going to be building, and I wanted some last minute opinions. My budget is $900 and I am trying to squeeze as much power out of it as possible. Do any of you recommend a build, red and black theme, that can max out most games on High to Ultra settings 1080p? In the build, try to include a red and black mouse and keyboard.

Would you mind paying an extra $150 for a $1050 build? If not what do you have picked out right now?

Do you need a monitor,  WIndows, or an SSD? Also, beware of people saying "spend a little bit more". You can end up paying double or even triple your original budget. I can hook you up with a solid $900 build.

no monitor or windows needed. If you can, fit in a ssd, but i rather have more power than a ssd

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hy2Mxr Use like a cheap, wireless $20 logitech mouse and keyboard then when you get a little bit more money get something like a Ducky Shine 3 backlit red and something like a Razer Deathadder Chroma or a plain matte black SteelSeries mouse

You can get a little bit better performance if you sacrifice aesthetics, but i don't blame you. It's $903 but you can add a Hyper 212 for $30 if you can, but the stock Intel cooler isn't that bad. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/jkG4kL

what would you be spending the extra 150 on? and this is what i have so far. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2kW6Vn

you could get a really good deal for the intel core i54690k and a mobo with the red and black color scheme at a micro center store if you live nearby

If the OP really wanted to, in my build I went for quality and a little bit of aesthetics. If he got a cheaper mobo, case, and PSU he could throw in a 120gb SSD and still be at around $1000

Add a SSD later and if you really want to kick ass get another 290x later.

Also the graphics card has a 20$ mail in rebate.

Depends on personal preference. They're both good cases, it's just whether you like a simplistic rectangular box, or a more stand-out design.

does the 340 have rubber grommets and is it worth getting the cheaper one because Im trying to get my budget as low as i can but still have good performance and good aesthetics

The S340 doesn't have rubber grommets, and it doesn't need to. Cables are just run through one large square cutout and behind the mobo tray.
