If youre that concerned about UV radiation, don't go outside. There is sun outside. It is thousands of times more powerful than an LED strip.

One of my teachers had a Quiz during lunch and when she Asked what will expose you to Radiation, I answered "THERE IS RADIATION EVERYWHERE!"

Because he had a hard drive.

Those are cold cathodes. They are obsolete. LED strips are way more power efficient, safer, and look better.

Just use some UV led strips instead of fluorescents like these, they will last a lot longer

That's definitely true. Especially bananas and granite :)

Im refering to setting them up Safety wise. half my room already glows when thier on.

As long as your aren't staring into them for 15 minutes they are safe.

Our science teacher had 6 black lights, the long tube ones and would sometimes turn them all on for the whole hour period. You can find something to put them in so you can pretty much not look at them

yeah, but as long as you dont directly look at the black lights for long periods of time they shouldnt hurt you

backlighting is much safer than having direct light from them

also remember that the farther you are away, the intensity drops significantly more, inversely proportional to the square of the distance :)
