Hey guys, got a crazy one for anyone who might know how to do this.

So I have this Mx17 laptop with a 6970M in it. I want to connect it to a Desktop oriented 6950 with unlocked BIOS so its running as a 6970. Ive already got the card running that way, what I need to know is if there is any why to hook the card up. I know someone a while back made a case that attached to laptops for desktop GPUS, also be aleinware if I recall, but I don't want to do that.

So question is, how does the 6970M in the laptop hook up to the mobo, and can I attach it to the 6950 somehow?  (also, I am obviously aware its not going to fits in the laptop case.)

Any ideas on how I could use the laptops power to run the card instead of a extra PSU? My build plane kind of envisioned making a custom box bolted to the back of the monitor to mount the GPU. Putting a PSU there would be too bulky.

The card would use more than the laptops power brick can output. Don't even try, you'll lose both.
