960 will play Metro games on ultra in what resolution? Also future games?
Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 2GB
I am darn sure it will play it on max in 720p, 768p but 900p? and higher?
Also what about future games? Will they be 720p as max res or more? =)

In what FPS would be lovey to know also!
Since you specifically asked about Metro, the Metro Redux games run at 50–60 FPS at 1080p with SSAA and PhysX turned off (all else at max) on my system with a GTX 770. The 770 is usually only a few percent (i.e. a couple of frames) faster than a 960. It's also a fairly CPU-sensitive game, so someone with something better than my i5-750 may see even better performance.
I expect the GTX 960 to continue to be appropriate for 1080p gaming for a few years. In some games you may have to do some more tweaking than others to keep framerates consistent, but you should not be dropping the resolution.
The GTX 960 gets utterly thrashed by the community around here, and I don't think the benchmarks really support that. It was kind of a boring launch after the 970/980, but it's a more competitive card than it gets credit for.
