I am trying to overclock my E6600 but have found that my overclocks have been very unstable. When I have been increasing my VCore, it only gives me options of Auto, 50mv, 100mv, 150mv. I would like to overclock to something close to 3.6 - 4.0ghz and if anyone could help guide me to set up a stable overclock with what voltages, etc which I should set It would be Much appreciated.

My Specs are:

. Intel Pentium e6600 Wolfdale 3.06ghz

.ASUS P5G41T-M-LX

. Coolermaster TX3 EVO

. Coolermaster 650w PSU

. 8gb DDR3

. WD Blue Cavier 1tb

. GTX 550ti

Your system (especially the motherboard) is really not optimized for overclocking. G41 boards may have some rudimentary overvolting options but they lack some of the other features you need to push that platform :(

I have the Q6600 out of a XPS 420 in the Motherboard out of the Acer Aspire G7700,, AKA the P7N Diamond,, with the H-80, i cant get it past 3.6Ghz.

unless i'm missing something in the BIOS,, i'm giving up and looking for a Core 2 Extreme.
