  • For a friend.

I came up with this build here, but I wanted the opinion of others, the build is based on Austin Evans Axion build. (shares allot of parts)

That build is pretty decent. Does your friend prefer Windows 7 or 8? Or did you choose 7 for the price? (Asking so I can make a new build to compare).

It would be nice, and will add about ~$40 to the overall cost to get an i3 instead of the Pentium. The Pentium is really meant to be overclocked, and AFAIk h97 doesn't support overclocking

W7, although I told him it didn't matter due to the free W10 upgrade for both.

Okay. I made a W7 build, it's slightly over budget, though. All I really did was change the GPU to a GTX 750Ti, which is a bit faster than the 260X.

Most non-Z boards support oc'ing the G3258. 

This goes over budget before MIR.

? The cost is the same as the original list when disregarding MIR.

It shows up as $15.87 more expensive before MIR, but my friend said its cool so it's not a big deal. Thanks for the suggestions.
