GoPro for YouTube

A few of you may know that I have a YouTube channel, I'm buying a 5th Gen Honda Prelude and building a brand new setup next year, I will be doing build logs both here and on YouTube. I'm wondering if a GoPro will do well for timelapses of building up the car, building the PC, the battlestation, and also car vlogs. Will a GoPro be good for my use case scenario or is there something else I should look at?

Not saying you have to or should but it would be really cool if you had like a digital camera + tripod and also GoPro footage. Makes things far more interesting. Subscribed. :D

GoPro footage is pretty decent quality too, especially the new one.

QUOTE ME IN A REPLY SO I CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION!

When there is no danger of failure there is no pleasure in success.
