This is why I overclock: 

...So the CPU bottleneck is less re-don-ku-lous.

The one I got from an RMA from Amazon (the 5.6ghz one went to silicon heaven) can bench at 5GHz :), not quite as good a the 1st one though :(

Pshh. Don't feel bad. My CPU'll shut off at 3.9GHz and sustained medium load. No BSOD or anything. Just black screen shutdown. I can't wait to swap it out for another chip.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

I think my computer might boot with 4.6 on my g3258 but it wouldn't be stable! 4.4 is as high as I can go and even then I have to go to 1.31v which is huger than if like even though temps are fine. I overclock because even when I had it down at 4.2ghz I noticed it was slower than at 4.4
