Good low budget tablet

My mum is after a cheap tablet to do simple things on like word processing, social media etc. I'm currently looking at the Asus memo pad 7", it is only £100 has average specs but should do for simple things.

What does everyone else think?

This, very good battery, already has lollipop. Asus never updates their tablets.

I have the Dell Venue 8 Pro and love it. I hear the HP Stream 7is good as well.
