Defragmenting SSD's

Go to solution Solved by C0LL0SS0S,

don't defrag SSDs, just don't ^^

Is there a need to defragment SSD's? I have one as my primary with a secondary mechanical that needs defragmenting.

Can anyone suggest any software I can use ONLY on my mechanical drive??

Please do not defragment. The only thing it will actually do is potentially kill your ssd faster.

  • Trim SSD's, don't defragment unless you have too much cash.
  • There's no software required. Most newest operating systems have a built in defrag and trim thing.

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.
