Posted May 11, 2015 Hi, I'm getting my GPU tomorrow and I'm wondering what would be a better one. Considering R7 250 is a rebrand of 7770, I expect the new features won't be as effective as much on a 720p (will soon be playing on 1080p on the next payday), so it won't bother me. Posted May 11, 2015 The HD 7770 will definitely be faster than the R7 250. If you aren't already though, have you considered looking at used cards? I know R7 265s and R9 270s can be found cheap, maybe even a GTX 580 or HD 6970. The R7 250X is the rebrand, not the R7 250.
