I have a problem with my new computer. It freezes sometime when it boots into windows. I know this can be a problem if I want to overclock it and it get to little volt, but I have not touched overclocking options, Its running stock settings.

Any ideas what the problem can be?

How many sticks of RAM?

Take out one of the sticks and try again.

try to manually input your ram settings.

try something simple like

1600MHz

9-9-9-24 1T

1.5V

I know your ram is much faster than that.

Have you tried loading the xmp profile?

On my 2400MHz mem kit the xmp profile for 2400MHz was unstable.

I would try resetting your bios settings. It could also be one of your programs/system file is corrupted and freezing. I would try running sfc /scannow in an elevated command prompt to check that your window's files are not corrupted.

If you haven't yet, be sure to set your memory timings manually and check to see that "SATA Mode" is set to AHCI, rather than IDE or RAID.

That will likely not make a difference in terms of freezing.
