I have recently been having tearing issues while browsing the internet, on hulu, and when in desktop.  Can this issue be linked to me having three monitors all with different refresh rates (eg. primary monitor is set on 120 Hz, the other two have max of 60H).  If not, what are some other problems?

did this start after you installed the tri monitor setup? because if so, then yes, it was caused by that.

no....it had just recently started doing it.

If you have a custom build, have you tried OCing the GPU recently?

btw, having different hz can cause tearing. try going into the monitors settings and down clocking it.

Sorry, but that is not correct. I run a 144Hz monitor and a 60Hz monitor just fine doing everything.

When doing normal tasks, GPUs should run at a 2D clock. No amount of overclocking will change that 2D clock. And no, having differing refresh rates will not cause tearing.
