My Earphone Mic Clarification

So i have this Asus' zenfone earphone, when i plug my earphone in my phone the sounds picking in its dedicated mic spot which is normal

When i plug my earphone to my desktop mic jack, the sound is picking up from the earphone's speaker, and I find it amusing

Can anyone tell me what this is to me or give me some articles. This is new to me so pls be nice

if they have one plug and a mic is included the plug will have to be 4 pole. if they have 2 plugs then it will be normal.
