1000 AUD Budget Limit

I was wondering if there good laptop around 1000 AUD mark, it should have atleast i7 or i5 or atlest 6Gb-8GB. I looking for laptop for some Photoshop/video editing not much intense gaming like web bower and word etc. Also if it possible to light as possible but not too small. Please include your experience if you have any or information about the product would be nice.

A bit higher, and I'd recommend you take a look at venom (aussie laptop manufacturer), but at that price range you're looking at the mass market retailers like dell, and lenovo. While I'm not a fan of lenovo after the whole superfish thing, dell does make good laptops (bit pricy for the componentry, but it's a laptop).
