So I've since been looking at alternative Bittorrent clients and seeing as this thread got resurrected, I figure I'll mention I settled on Tixati.

 

It uses less CPU than Deluge, less memory than qBittorrent and the interface reminds me of my old WinMX days (but it lets you set the colours of damn near everything). If anyone's lost faith in utorrent, give it a try.
