how can do that, my router is really favoring the other computers in my house on my wifi network, so the Networking experience got really slow, i use a HG530 router 

i could really use a walk through how that's done

I was going to say QOS but that depends if it can be configured to preference pcs.

Apple Power Macintosh G5 2.0 DP (PCI-X) with notebook hdd i had lying around 4GB of ram

TOSHIBA Satellite P850 with Core i7-3610QM,8gb of ram,default 750hdd has dual screens via a external display as main and laptop display as second running windows 10

MacBookPro11,3:I7-4870HQ, 512gb ssd,16gb of memory

routers (especially cheaper ones) prioritize the "strongest signal"

 

so you could change yourself to be the strongest signal, meaning you'll get more speed than the others.

 

i've done this for years on our D-link, before that caught fire.

The Huawei routers have pretty cool QoS options. You don't need to fill out all the options. Find your MAC address and fill out that field, or even better if you are directly connected to the router, just select the ethernet port. Set the minimum bandwidth option, a value that defines how much of the internet is reserved only for your PC. And activate it.
