I would say 650W as a minimum for your build considering you are overclocking, although its good to go with something a bit higher that allows you to upgrade or expand in the future. Remember power supplies are a good investment, a good power supply could last you several builds. My advice would be to go with something decent, don't cheap out on it.

You could run it on a good quality 430W to be honest :) Corsair CX 430 would do the trick!

I agree with Rob, even 400-450W would do as long as it's a good power supply from a good brand. The one you have lying around might work depending on what brand/model it is.

any quality psu over 400w like a corsair cx430 or 500 will do just fine . get the 500 ,it will give a little head room for your future need like small upgrades!

nowadays any single gpu config can do just fine on 400-450w easy, you can either get a decent 700w for upgrade room or a platinum 550-500w psu depending on what you plan with the future what with Xfire or sli and whatnot. I would suggest low-wattage platinum psu's just for the peace of mind you get with high quality parts and high efficiency

Corsair 600T White | Gigabyte Z77-UD3H | Intel Core i5-2500k | 8GB Gskill Ares@1600MHz | Gigabyte G1 GTX970 | OCZ ZT 550 | Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB | Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB | Samsung 840 EVO 250GB (boot) | Full Custom Loop | NZXT HUE

Yeah I would go with a 600-650W quality PSU for some overclocking headroom or if you know youre planning on Crossfire in the future, then get a 750-800W.

And remember, you do not wanna gimp out on PSU's when building a new PC. Theyre the most important part since they can take your whole system with them if they die or have a poor quality

Best wishes

Hi, as most other people have said around the 600w mark and you'll be set. I'm running a build similar to yours and have a 650w, it's nice to have the head room for possible future upgrades. Some posts state you can get away with a decent 450w psu, that is true but you may be limiting yourself a few years down the line, if for example you wanted to add a second card. Regardless of what watt you finally go for, make sure the brand is quality and you should have no problems at all.

500-600w of power will be enough. Remember to go at least 80+ bronze certified. You should consider getting a power supply with more wattage for future upgrading capabilities.

Those certifications don't mean very much about a power supply; in practice, many units that are certified don't actually reach those levels of performance.

Just go for a power supply that was well rated by Johnnyguru or another reputably reviewer who has actually tested the unit.

I'd go for a 500 watt one at least to be on the safe side.
