HDD not sensed

Go to solution Solved by Griffscavern,

Try following this and see if it shows up.

Make sure the drive's power and data connectors are firmly plugged into the sockets, also make sure the drive is spinning up (listen for a whirring and humming sound from the drive.)

Im in the disk management but the disk does not even exist in the listing. I opened up the casing and the disk appears to be spinning because I felt the vibration. When I list disk in disk part in cmd, the drive shows up as well but somehow I just dont see it where I want it to be.

did you format the drive yet? if not, i believe its called "drive manager" on windows, but i'm pretty sure a native english speaker can correct that for me.

It's called Disk Management. You were pretty close.
