fx 8350/8370 gx 970

I would recommend a Core i5 over an FX for gaming generally. They have better single core performance (thanks to the slighly higher IPC) and support for AVX2, which may improve your experience in some games. As user of an FX 8320 in my daily driver I can confirm that they handle most games fairly well, but if you can get an i5 (and I think you could probably manage to fit it in your budget given that you're asking) I would recommend it.

Certain games will perform poorly on the FX chips, specifically those that heavily use a single thread like MMOs (Torchlight jumps to mind, it stuttered a little on my 8320 at stock). That being said it isn't a terrible option, just not the best option.

4460 won't bottleneck anything. 970 is a good combo.

It is perfectly fine. Its a pretty powerful cpu. The only reason you would want a stronger cpu is if you are playing really cpu intensive games which are not the norm. Those games are the like of TF2, CS:GO and other games running on the Source engine. Also, GTA V is said to be quite cpu intensive but the 4460 should chew it no problem

It depends on the game. Some games, an i5 will show a significant or at least appreciable advantage, others it won't matter.

Here on game debate when u scroll down till the comments i think but just scroll down how much u can. There is amd fx 8370 reccomended for gtx 970. So will that cpu bottleneck?

Depends on what game. With current DX11 there will pretty much always be some sort of bottleneck or another, but in AAA titles it's a much lesser bottleneck that you won't really notice. In games like MMOs and MOBAs though there will be a large bottleneck as those games are mostly based on single-threaded performance for the CPU.

That cpu will bottle neck the 970 quite hard in most games, it's much better to get an I5.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

game debate is worthless... all they do is compare the specs against each other, in an automated way that doesnt make the slightest sense.
